Hello my name is Janet Pierre-Toussaint. Thanks for visiting my page. I've worked with an array of individuals and families within the community. As an African provider (LCSW) with over 10 years of experience, I’ve worked in various settings, including community mental health clinics, non-profits, behavioral health organizations within leadership positions, & private practice. My focus areas have included trauma, anxiety, depression, grief & family dynamics, particularly within underserved populations. These experiences have shaped my culturally competent approach to therapy, & fostering a practice rooted in empathy, advocacy, & resilience.

A typical treatment plan involves a combination of talk therapy, cognitive-behavioral techniques, & personalized coping strategies to address specific concerns.
